About CCPSA

About The CCPSA

We lead, develop and grow boccia from grassroots to producing World Champions, and we collaborate with partners to increase participation of Canadians with physical disabilities in sport.

Established in 1985, the Canadian Cerebral Palsy Sports Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping anyone with cerebral palsy or a related disability access quality sport and recreation activities. We do this through….program delivery, education, advocacy and partnership. Physical activity and the pursuit of excellence in sport can be rewarding for everyone. We believe that people with cerebral palsy and related disabilities should have the opportunity to develop their full athletic potential with the support of trained, knowledgeable coaches.

We are the National Sport Organization for the Paralympic sport of Boccia. We work with our provincial partners and other organizations to support the inclusion of athletes with cerebral palsy and related disabilities in sport development, athlete recruitment and talent identification programs across all sports.

Overall, at CCPSA we understand the power of sport to change lives.

The CCPSA is generously funded by the Government of Canada.
